Colliding Worlds

I find it both entertaining and disconcerting when I have an idea for a project and then while doing research for something else, discover that my idea has a base in fact, and here I wanted to make it a fantasy. I suppose I could throw the idea away or shelve it indefinitely until I forget about the new discovery, but instead, I'll end up digging further, seeing what I can dig up that will add an air of realism to the civilizations that I'm creating. The most interesting part of this for me, this time, is that the opening words go something like = "Camera's rolling - Ready - and Go!" with lots of visuals and no inner thoughts or emotions. Can't wait.

And while going through a book on costumes through the ages, I found out what the heroine in HA is wearing. YEAH.

Sometimes school, research and writing slam together at the weirdest times and come up with the best combinations.
